Albert Carceller, Salou's Boat, won the Optimist International Meeting
Salou. Costa Dorada. The sailor Yacht Club in Salou, Albert Carceller was awarded the International Meeting of the San Remo Optimist. In this race that closes the European calendar this classje sailors took part in Italy, France, Switzerland, Romania, Britain, Spain and Monaco. The young sailor's Boat in Salou, who competed in junior, came in leading the first test of this prestigious race day, and never gave up the leadership of the classification after seven races contested. The three days of racing in San Remo were characterized by good weather, which changed in intensity. At the San Remo International Meeting was attended by a total of 114 sailors in the Optimist class.
