The Plenum of the City of Salou has rejected with the votes of government (CiU and PSC-FUPS) and C'S and PP to inquire about BCN World to consider it "unnecessary" and has been largely shaped samples supporting tourism project and the benefits have been shelled. " Granados also thanked groups that have joined the PP and C's in motion by showing a united front and Salou wants this opportunity to become a center of tourism with an offer that already brings together PortAventura Circus du Soleil and Ferrariland.

The BCN World project, nearly 2500 million and should generate up to 9,000 jobs in the region, is seen favorably by the majority of the City Council of Salou, but we have two councilors abstained from ERC councilor and win Salou voted against.

C's spokeswoman, Marta Cortes thanked the government for having accepted contributions of the municipal group's initial motion to ensure that the project is worth while PP spokesman, Mario Garcia also expressed his unconditional support motion and investment, rejecting the query and wondering aloud if they have done something similar when it decided to implement FerrariLand.

ERC spokesman, Sandro Boquet, has raised doubts about the model of the project and asked for patience to clarify a new model of the master plan, currently on hold.

The motion

The motion was adopted by wide consensus agrees on enacting:

1) accelerate the processing reiterated that the revised text of the PDU CRT for provisional approval, so that the Consortium CRT his approval, and can be raised to final approval from the government before next June 2016, so that makes possible the extension of the CRT.

2) Support to the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia in its intention to continue the expansion project CRT; declaring our firm opposition to the public consultation which proposes the Government on the future of these CTI in the field of CRT.

3) express our firm opposition to the consultation can be convened by the government of the Generalitat, and especially that which can be confined in a higher level in the municipalities affected by its implementation, Salou and Vila-seca; since these are the only two municipalities the authority to grant planning permission and approval of urban planning instruments, delegated its own powers in the field of CRT.

4) Ask for a call for urgent and extraordinary Consortium CRT, by requiring the presence of the Minister of Economy, Hon. Mr. Oriol Junqueras, also president of the Consortium of CRT in order to make the above approval of this motion.

5) To transfer this motion to the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia; Directors of Finance, and Planning and Sustainability of the Government; and the mayor of Vila-seca.
