Salou. Costa Dorada. The City Council has launched a campaign of Salou with the local police from Salou to sensitize and educate merchants about the city hawking the losses generated. Police carried out this campaign with informative brochures on support are made available ten reasons to say NO to peddle.   The City Council of Salou and the Local Police want to stress the 'zero tolerance' against illegal hawking counterfeit products and to improve the quality of life and consumption that takes place in the city of Salou.   This year, is presented as a starting point for reflection and ten reasons to say NO to the street selling ten points that explain the damage this type of product sales. In the leaflets that are distributed among traders stressed that this activity goes against their interests because it destroys businesses, shops and local causes and creates unfair competition closing shops and companies legally established and the corresponding jobs. This activity is committing fraud against the public treasury because no contributions or tax records and endangering the health and safety of consumers because the products sold are of poor quality and no official assurances. Among the reasons ought also argued that accepts and encourages the exploitation of working people who work behind the peddle and are subjected to this exploitation.   Along with these ten reasons to reject it easier to peddle businesses adhesive material to be placed at the entrance of their business and warned that potential sellers are guilty of a crime and that piracy is an illegal act.   The aim of this type of action is to prevent the exercise of this activity that harms the trade town. The Local Police officers are struggling from the start of the season so strong to maintain the level of eradication achieved in recent years.   The Councillor for Tourism and Public Safety, Alberto Hierro's, said that "for years the local police work hard to do away with this type of illegal activity and has achieved very good result" and added that "this re campaign that we did a few years ago because at the time gave good results and we continue working to join forces to improve comfort and security of citizens. "
