Local Police completed the first phase of the program of road safety education in schools

The program began in September aimed at different stages of education from primary education (from 8 years), high school, vocational education, special education unit and the shared school (up to 18) . The teaching team of road safety education is coordinated by a corporal of the Local Police and consists of three agents, which were added in the month of January, two more guards. The road safety education has become an essential area of ​​prevention and excellent tool to instill in young people the basics of living and safe mobility. The aim is to promote and strengthen the importance of the values ​​of respect, tolerance and civility between vehicles and pedestrians, schools, and to achieve a public increasingly aware, thoughtful, and responsible dialogue. It is also intended that future generations of drivers know their immediate environment, the personal risk factors and consequences, perceive the danger and want to get a reckless driving to avoid it. The road safety education is therefore to create positive attitudes and habits of living, along with the notions of minimum safe mobility, preventions of accidents and safety regulations. These days of road safety education had its continuation during the Christmas Park in Salou where the local police collaborated with the aim of bringing the police and the children make it through leisure activities: circuits cycling ability, and cut several educational games.
