Salou sends new alert on the heat wave until Saturday
Salou. Costa Dorada. 9th August 2012. The Department of Public Health and Environmental Quality has launched an information campaign aimed at the dissemination of practical advice to the strong heat wave that will live Salou, Costa Dorada and Catalonia from today, mainly, and in the coming days. From Public Health is intended to echo the campaign that promotes the Ministry of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia, detailing the practical advice to try to minimize the effects of the heatwave at home, the street where it is not advisable to expose the sun, plus the need to hydrate themselves frequently monitor food, reduced physical activity in the hottest hours, plus tips to remember when dressing up and having care of children and older homes. Councilman Ramon Pascual pointed out the usefulness of these basic tips but they are vital in certain age groups and especially to avoid unnecessary heat stroke, and coinciding with the moments of heat, as is more August-.
